Cuento final
Este cuento fue realizado entre Ulises, Armando José Gaviria, Gabriel Pastor, Enrique Castiblanco y la edición de Cuento Colectivo. Surgió a partir de este ejercicio en el cual la idea es contar qué te pasa mientras estás en los zapatos del personaje famoso de tu escogencia. ¡Tu retroalimentación es esencial!
Elegí que el gran desierto de Sonora fuera el enorme pliego donde se realizara mi insaciable hambre de victoria. Si no viene el enemigo, yo le busco, este ejército le busca. Falta poco, falta poco para hallarle al fin y demostrar una vez más, a la república entera, a todo el continente, más allá de los océanos, que es Antonio López de Santa Anna el instrumento indispensable para México. Los periódicos ensalzarán mi nombre y, al regreso, las ciudades me recibirán con vítores…
– Mi general, el ejército está casi muerto. Ya son muchos días sin provisiones.
– ¡Ordené que fueran a buscar por allá!
– Mi general, solo hay plantas de gobernadora y el ejército ya no las quiere.
– Es necesario entonces un cambio total de estrategia, tenemos que inventarnos un mecanismo en el cual algunos de nuestros soldados hagan visitas a las poblaciones aledañas. Cada pueblo tiene sus familias con dinero y recursos para repartir, sin embargo, de eso de la repartición igualitaria no es que se vea mucho. Creo que va siendo hora que esas familias adineradas paguen sus honorarios al bien mayor, a un Estado mexicano soberano e independiente. Así era el General Santa Anna, recursivo, inteligente, ambicioso, entre otras cualidades. Fue ganador de muchas batallas militares y por un periodo considerable de tiempo, fue considerado un héroe nacional. “El Águila”, “El quince uñas”, “Héroe del Pánuco”, “Benemérito de Veracruz”, “Guerrero Inmortal de Cempoala”, “Benemérito de Tampico”,” Alteza Serenísima”, “Napoleón del Oeste” o “Napoleón de América”, eran algunos de sus sobre nombres.
Eventualmente llegaría a ocupar la Presidencia de la República, no obstante, tras la pérdida de gran parte del territorio nacional, Santa Anna es destituido y exiliado, dándole vida a la frase de Dante Alighieri “Vuestra fama es como la flor, que tan pronto brota, muere, y la marchita el mismo sol que la hizo nacer de la tierra ingrata”.
Después de la presentación, Gloria se fue para su casa y pensaría por horas acerca de cómo le había ido en su tesis de grado sobre el General Antonio López de Santa Anna. Dos semanas después le llegaría la noticia, en tres meses era su ceremonia de grado como Master en Historia y Cuento de la Universidad de Trápala, ubicada en Ardid, Chile.
