“Inspeccionaremos el terreno un par de horas y entonces regresaremos a la nave a mandar un mensaje a base”, dijo el comandante Gregorio.
“Para cuando lleguen ya habré separado un terreno bastante amplio solo para mí. Ahí construiré un hogar. ¡Vamos, me lo merezco!”, comentó el piloto, Bernardo.
“Concéntrese piloto, aún no sabemos con qué tipo de hostilidades nos encontraremos en SB- 143”, ordenó el capitán.
“Solo una pregunta más comandante. ¿Le podemos cambiar ese horrible nombre que tiene este planeta después?”…

Antes de cambiar el nombre debemos inspeccionar bien el planeta para conocer sus características y poder definir un nombre que lo identifique de los demás planetas que conocemos, respondió el comandante.
Siguieron caminando y a lo lejos observaron grandes montículos de tierra. “Lleguemos hasta allí para ver si es posible escalar” comentó Bernardo.
En esas estaban cuando, de pronto, hubo una gran viento que los envolvió por completo y los hizo resguardarse entre sus pertenencias. Pasaron unos minutos y el viento recio cesó. “Qué sensación tan extraña” dijo el comandante, me sentí por un momento envuelto en una gran tormenta pero lo raro es que no hubo cambios en el clima.
Al levantar su mirada para ubicar nuevamente los montículos de arena a los que pensaban llegar, sorpresivamente se dieron cuenta que ya no estaba; ¿A dónde se fue esa gran cantidad de arena? Exclamaron al unísono, mirándose perplejos por el fenómeno que acababan de observar.
“Continuemos con nuestro camino capitán” dijo con voz algo tímida Estrella, la copiloto de la nave. No es muy seguro quedarnos aquí por mucho tiempo, no sabemos qué más pueda pasar. Es como si este extraño planeta no quisiera que lo exploremos.
Continuaron caminando pero con un poco de sobresalto y mucha expectativa por no saber qué más iban a observar sus ojos. No habían caminado mucho tiempo cuando en el horizonte contemplaban algo parecido a un tupido bosque.
¿Será que llegamos hasta allí? Preguntó algo nervioso el piloto Bernardo. ¿Qué tal que ocurra lo mismo que con los montículos de arena?
Tranquilo Bernardo, hasta ahora no nos ha pasado nada, además tenemos suficiente equipo para enfrentar cualquier adversidad. Recuerda que nuestra misión es explorar el planeta y llevar toda la información posible a nuestra base en la tierra.
Todos asintieron con su cabeza y prosiguieron su expedición. Al llegar al inmenso bosque descubrieron que en ese lugar se hospedaban los más extraños y maravillosos seres que sus ojos jamás habían visto. Quedaron perplejos ante tanta belleza y diversidad en la flora y fauna que allí vivía. No podían creer lo que veían y muy alegremente se abrazaron; sin decir palabra alguna entendieron que habían descubierto una maravillosa opción para habitar en caso de que en el sufrido planeta tierra pasara lo inevitable: su destrucción.
Tomaron fotografías, escribieron sus apuntes y muy contentos regresaron a la tierra convencidos que la misión había sido un éxito.
