En la cuenca del río Andágueda, en el Choco, un indígena emberá se hace a su barca y se dispone para navegar en un paraíso de incontables hazañas, en medio de una selva que funde la pasión de su historia y cultura pero que es mancillado por la desigualdad social y la explotación de recursos naturales.
Aquí comienza la historia de Joaquín, un indígena más que recuerda lo que más disfrutaba hacer en su tierra, con nostalgia y pesar cuenta su vida en una fría casa del centro de Bogotá, donde fue a parar desplazado por la violencia de su región y por los intereses de algunos que no le favorecen.
En las noches tiene más pesadillas que sueños y en ellas se refleja cada instante del día que tuvo que tomar sus ‘chiritos’, y agarrar vuelo sin saber para donde coger.
Los pocos sueños agradables, son de cuando podía montarse en su canoa y adentrarse en la cuenca, donde se sentía protegido y en paz, donde podía pescar sin temor, donde el silencio de la selva le susurraba al oído y le coqueteaba para enamorarlo cada vez más de su tierra, su gente y su historia…
Rio abajo van mis sueños/ nacen en la cordillera/ montes altos donde perdura el trote ancestral de mensajeros/resistencia unica del ritmo sin descanso/de un lugar a otro/ intercambiando emociones con deseos.
Rio abajo limpiando piedras con el agua/como mi amor/ buscando la hondonada/ fragil quietud/casa de seres acuaticos /alimento de prole/descanso sagrado/eterno.
Rio abajo/reflejo/dualidad entre lo interno y lo externo/mi corazon/sus fibras/el cosmos/universo espejo.
Rio abajo mi red/coneccion de hilos/arañas tejiendo/transformando/construyendo/atrapando en hilos viejos sueños.
Rio abajo siguen mis sueños/verde cupula/sonar sin tiempo/no me hace falta el ruido/no se ahogan/se transportan ligero.
Rio y sueños/elementos unicos/cuerpo/alma/olvido/luz danzando en silencio.
