Este texto ha sido escrito hasta el momento por Fermin Ángel Beraza y surgió de este ejercicio en el cual la idea es escribir un cuento infantil. Lo único que hace falta para terminar la historia es el título. ¡Invéntate uno que sea llamativo!
De tiro con su hijo Peter, entra Norma al Super para comprar alimentos. Al niño no le gustaban los Supermercados porque le temía a las cajas registradoras. Con sus ocho añitos, un niño le puede temer a cualquier cosa…Peter a las cajas del Super. Los números que aparecían en el visor no eran números sino los ojos del dragón, y la tira de papel con los precios era para él la lengua caliente del bicho, que cada vez estaba mas larga y parecía que lo tocaría en cualquier momento.
La mamá le venía explicando que si estaba con ella, nada le ocurriría. Solo tenía que pensar en el partido de futbol que jugaría con sus amigos justo cuando estuvieran pasando por la caja y seguro que todo el susto se le pasaba.
—Te dejo manejar el carrito si te portas bien, le pidió la madre.
—Yo no se manejar todavía, mami.
—Pues yo te enseñaré, amor, así cuando vengas con papi le muestras lo que sabes hacer.
El carro se hamacaba de un lado para otro, guiado a toda velocidad por Peter, mientras la madre se entretuvo mirando los precios de los fideos para la sopa. Como en la escuela lo que mas le gustaba al niño era enchastrar de colores todo su cuaderno, frenó su autocarro enfrente de las verduras y frutas porque le atrajo todo aquel colorido.
—Todos sabemos que no te gusta venir aquí, le habló un hermoso morrón rojo que parecía el jefe de todo el cajón donde estaban sus compañeros.
—Asombrado, Peter busca a su mamá con la mirada, que se pierde entre tanta gente, pasillos y góndolas.
—Si quieres podemos ayudarte, dijo bajito una reluciente naranja, que se frotaba el sellito que tenia pegado.
Ahora más calmado, Peter les contesta: este lugar donde viven es el que mas me gusta de todos. Ya aprendí todos los colores en la escuela, así que ahora puedo nombrarlos a ustedes si me dicen como se llaman y después le cuento a mi mami.
— ¿Quién es el rojo?
—Me llamo morrón, y algunas veces me vas a encontrar coloreado de verde.
— ¿Los de color anaranjado, como se llaman?
—Naranjas, contestaron todas las del cajón, y nuestras primas de aquí abajo son las mandarinas.
— ¿Y esos copos que parecen papel arrugado de color verde?
—Somos las lechugas, Peter, y nos gusta jugar a que somos de nieve, copos de nieve verde.
Norma apareció doblando en la estantería de las galletitas, y se alegró de ver a su hijo entretenido en la verdulería, ya estaba por dar aviso al guardia para que la ayude a buscarlo. No pudo oír la charla del niño con los frutos de la tierra, pero se alegró de verlo bien y hasta parecía mas tranquilo que cuando entraron. La señora recogió algunas verduras de aquí y otras frutas de allá y le sorprendió cuando su hijo le pidió que llevara morrón, naranjas y lechugas. « Este chico ya sabe los nombres de los vegetales, pensó»
Después de llenar el carro con lo necesario, madre e hijo enfilaron para« la casa del dragón lengualarga». Mientras Norma ya se imaginaba todo el berrinche que le armaría su niño al cruzar por la caja, Peter recordaba lo que le dijeron sus amigos: rojo, naranja y verde… rojo, naranja y verde… a los dragones no les gustan las verduras… solo comen estrellas… su lengua se congela si tocan lechugas…el color rojo les cierra los ojos…los sellos de las naranjas los asustan…
Ya en la calle, la mamá lo mira al niño y contenta que esta vez no se asustó, le pregunta: seguro que no te olvidaste del partido de futbol, Peter. Y el niño contestó: de que partido me hablas, mamá.
