Sigue esta narración que ha sido escrita por Valentina Solari y la edición del Comité editorial de Cuento Colectivo. Una de las condiciones es que debes narrar en primera persona, para continuar con un estilo uniforme. Una vez sepamos el final de este cuento, le inventaremos títulos.
Faltan unos instantes en el cronómetro. Todo depende de mí, la gloria de una nación entera. ¿Seré capaz de ganar? Respiro hondo, trato de no pensar en más nada sino en la competencia, visualizo la victoria. Es el momento… oigo las palabras: “En sus marcas, listos, fuera…”

Y empieza la competencia. Me lanzo al agua y comienzo a nadar los primeros 50 metros. Tanto esfuerzo y dedicación… todo se resume a este momento. No miro hacia los lados, me concentro en mí. Eso es lo bello de este deporte. De alguna forma eres tú solo contra el tiempo, tú contra ti mismo.
Paso los primeros 50, después 100, después 150 metros. Empiezo a sentir en mi espalda y hombros el agotamiento. Sin embargo, faltan los últimos 50, es ahora que tengo que dar todo. Toco la pared con mis pies y me impulso para ir con todo en el tramo final. Siento una explosión de adrenalina…
